You have named some very good wheelers (incl. Sean's addition of the XX4).
I have only owned one (BJ4-WE) so keep that in mind when you read what I have to say.

Since buying the BJ4 I have no regrets.
Great build quality, factory support and parts are easy to get (even the JC parts are easy to get).

As Mark L. said, any broken parts have been due to driver error on my part. Now that I have a little more experience driving 4wd I don't break (...looking for wood to knock on...).

Main reasons why I like my BJ4:
- Easy to drive
- Handles power very well (low, mid, high)
- Shaft drive (low,low,low diff.maintenance)
- Parts availability
- Factory support

P.S. My second choice would be a Lazer.

Although I was an old-school Kyosho racer, and I looked at buying the Lazer, I am not too impressed with the car personally. To hear of chassis and shock towers breaking on the car too easy makes me turn away from this car.

Personally, I love the handling of the Yokomo MR4BX - and although it is the most expensive of the 4WD buggies on the market, it is VERY durable - although maintenance is higher with this car. With the Tamiya being pretty much the same at the MR4BX, and seeing what Tamiya Canada had in stock for the car (pretty much everything you would need), it would be the top choice of a high-end 4WD RC buggy IMO. Those that are complaining lack of parts at their store ... trust me, it's the store that is not ordering the parts - not Tamiya Canada.

Good thing is that many of the parts on the 501X are interchangable with the MR4BX.
