Futaba have announced the release of 2 new brushless, metal gear, high torque servos, the super high torque BLS351 and the smaller but faster BLS451, both of which are perfect for on and off road gas racing. With their brushless motors, these servos will last more than five times longer than servos with brushed motors, plus the motor design allows these servos to run cooler for better reliability.

Unparalleled response times – 30% faster than standard digital servos
- Less susceptible to the effects of vibration and/or shock — a problem that has hindered modelers for years
- Lower operating temperatures — for added longevity
- Specially treated gears that virtually eliminate slop and backlash
- Increased resolution – keeping the modeler “in-touch” with his model
- Samarium Cobalt magnets
- Dual ball bearings
- The same power consumption and centering as with brushed digital servos, with the same case size as typical standard-sized servos – they fit anywhere a standard Futaba servo was installed
- Futaba 1-Year Warranty

BLS351 Brushless High-Torque Metal Gear Servo
- Torque @ 4.8V: 155 oz-in • Torque @ 6.0V: 194 oz-in • Speed @ 4.8V: 0.16 sec • Speed @ 6.0V: 0.13 sec • Dimensions: 1.6 x .8 x 1.5 in (40.6 x 20.3 x 38 mm)

BLS451 Brushless High-Torque High-Speed Servo
- Torque @ 4.8V: 111 oz-in • Torque @ 6.0V: 139 oz-in • Speed @ 4.8V: 0.14 sec • Speed @ 6.0V: 0.11 sec • Dimensions: 1.6 x .8 x 1.4 in (40.6 x 20.3 x 35.5 mm)
