Electrics was never dead, hacker, lehner, aveox, kontronik.. was always alive and kicking, just not too many people knew about it. But Nitro does have a few advantages... Love the sound, and the refueling time.

Electrics.. faster, stronger....

Have you guys ever seen an electric assisted Nitro truck?... I shall be working on one...

At Sid's we had about 80 entries for our Triple A-Mayhem Trophy Race. Sure it's not 200 like one of the great Niagara Nitro events (they really are great!) BUT it is a lot of FUN. The people are great and the racing is action packed

Wow missed this whole thread.

You are right Steve 283 entries at that race> Isnt it great what can happen when electric and nitro guys work together.

Which is better ??????Well I look at it this way , a True R/C racer should be able to put either car down on the track and be competative

Enjoy the hobby my fellow addicts

I run both and enjoy both, hard to find an indoor nitro track to run on in the winter, not so with electric.

Before this neverending topic nitro vs electro gets locked...

Only thing eletric is good is when you want to run your RC without all the noise... And Nitro, if you like tuning its finicky motor til the sunset ...

after experiencing both sides of the coin I still have to vote nitro run times of 10+ minutes per tank 1 fuel bottle gives me like 5-6 tanks so I'm out for almost an hour on one fuel bottle and gotta love that sweet sweet sound. electric is good for 1 when I'm out of nitro fuel and 2 if I get the urge at 10pm at night

Nitro>electric however GAS>nitro
