New to batteries and charging

So I've picked up one 7.2v pack thats rated at 2400mah, along with a pirahna charger that'll let me set different voltages. At the same time I bought a couple of 3300mah Sub-C's for my glow ignitor and I have a few hump packs laying around ranging from 1000-1500mah. Also, I have the 12v 7ah in my starter box, but i'm not sure my charger will handle that I will probably pick up a car charger for it. Naturally, I have a few questions.

Can i charge all of these batteries with the charger? it has push connectors on the front so I could hook up whatever ends I like. Could I buy a glow ignitor end and charge the batts through it using the charger like the wall pack i have?

how should I charge the 7.2v charger will do up to 3a from the AC and 5a DC. Its my understanding that i should charge at 1/10th of the mah?

The charger's instructions are pretty lacking, will it trickle when a batt reaches capacity? I know it has no discharge function, what batteries can i charge from not-empty and which ones need to be drained?

What should I know about charging all these? Is there one site I can read that will give me a good understanding of batteries and charging them?

Yeah, tats a lot of questions. Thanks for any help you can give

I have this same charger charge your 2400mah (if it has decentv wires) at 2-2.4A the other packs at 1C (ie 1100=1.1A etc) for the glow igniter wall pack is best (I don't they stock a glow igniter end for this charger) and even if they did what's the point a charger needs only a few hours to be able to fully go. you can charge the 7.2V at 1C as well if you know what cells it's made out of. set your peak detection to 6mv/C and you'll be fine

hope this helps

You can also charge it another .1 or .2

I.E 2400 MAh can be charged at 2.5 or 2.6 amps for that extra bit of boost.
