I had buddies run these cars years ago, check and see if the rims have holes, if so cover them up with tape and gently put the holes in the tires instead so they can "breath". My friends tires turned rock-hard from running in loose powdery dirt.
I think Skycraft in Burlington still has parts for these cars, that was a "hot" car back in 2000, just not as hot as a Kyosho.

my rims fortunately are spoked but solid don't appear to have any holes. also I phoned skycraft before even doing the trade for this thing (traded my RC18T for it) they had parts in stock and I was also told that it can be converted to an EB4 for not much money and that all EB4 parts (shocks arms etc stuff that breaks) would fit with no modification. it may be a 30 minute drive to get parts but it came with spare arms and I was also told for control arms that a losi part with a slight bit of shaving fits as well on top of that my LHS deals in associated parts so I could easily order in TT parts (Thunder Tiger owns Associated)
TTR S3 with OS21RG and lots of bling
Venom micro resue heli
all parts by Rad Toyz RC Hobby Shop
^^ my feedback (please post all feedback there)
