Mach 427 tuning tips

If I run it rich there is a lot of blue smoke, and seems slow. Leaning it out to still have blue smoke and its better but once the tank gets to 1/4 or lower it seems that there isn't much smoke at all. Any suggestions or should I just richen it up.
Any tuning tips would help, or maybe I will take it to the peterborough track as it's closest to me and get some help with the tuning gods there.

Remember you need to tune when the engine is warmed up 100% which i find is usually after 3/4 of a tank. Thats when i tune it.

thats 1/2 tank happens with every vehicle with a bigger size fuel tank.....if you tune it so its slightly rich at full tank it will be running perfect by the time you reach 1/2 or lower......I usually fuel up once I get to 1/4 tank or lower..
