the hotwheels radars arent exactly the most precise radars.....

and you say his numbers cant be correct, but have you actually driven at 50 mph, not 50 kmh, but 50 mph, thats fast, i havent seen many rcs that go that fast, the Jato, and some brushless stuff, but not much else.... sorry but welcome to the real world of reality.

I work for the Police and we used a calibrated radar gun and got a reading of 84.3 kmph on my NTC3.
It's pretty much stock except for an os12 in it.
I'm sure if I changed out the stock gearing and leaned her out some more I could have easily broke 90kmph

i would need to see proof of something like that, im not gonna say its not entirely possible, i dont really think so, but with a proof vid or soemthing to back up your claims, you might stand a better chance here in the arguement.

I've heard rumor radars aren't an accurate way to measure the speed of scaled cars. The only true way to do it is to strap on a GPS so maybe you should do that then if you can be grown up just enough to give us the actual true numbers from the GPS then maybe that will support your claim abit better?

All mine are slow as as all I have are monster trucks, but I might think about actually getting a Jato or something similar someday for abit more speed.

is an on road race car

wouldnt suprise me if it went 90 k
off road cars dont go as fast they are geared for dirt
like a 600 crotch rocket is faster than a 600 mx bike duh.

cant you just go with mines bigger than yours if you cant decide who's is faster

i have that jato now. it no longer is used for crazy speed drag racing. i got it as a roller and put a 2.5r in it and use it for bashing. its still fast even with that engine. at least the car sees some dirt now and almost no pavement its soon to see some snow.

re 50mph ?

im sure that getting a jato to do 50 mph in a parking lot is not a problem but put shelbys ofna buggy on any offroad track against the same jato and the jato will lose pretty much all the time.

so who would have the "slow" car now?

most 1/8 offroad buggies are geared for offroad tracks while jatos are just for pissing around in the parking lot.

put that same jato on a offroad track against any 1/8 buggy and it wont win jack

in the end comparing a 2wd jato to a 1/8 4wd buggy like an ofna isnt very realistic
