Hey guys, who wants to go to a great trophy race in Markham?

The guys at MRCC are holding their second annual MRCC Trophy Race and it is just around the corner so get your cars ready for this fun event.

This year's receipient of this fund raising effort is the The Weekend To End Breast Cancer ( Princess Margaret Hospital ).

The Race to End Breast Cancer

1. Location: East wing of LobLaws parking lot on McCowan Rd. and Bullock Dr.
Major intersection - McCowan and Hwy. 7

Loblaws Supermarkets Limited
200 Bullock Drive
Markham, On L3P 1W2

2. Race Day: Sunday September 2, 2007

3. Time: 8AM – 5PM

4. Race Fee: $30 for the first class and $5 for each additional class

5. Race Length
Qualifier Mains
Electric Touring & Rally 3 x 5min. 5min.
Outlaw Mini 3 x 8min. 8min.
Nitro 3 x 5min. 30min. A-Main & 15min. B-Main

6. Classes: Mini, Electric Touring Open, Electric Touring GT2, Nitro Sedan

A minimum of 5 entries is required per Class. Any class that has less than 5 entries will be canceled (drivers will receive a full refund for the canceled class).

7. Track Specific Rules
· Your Radio Frequency clip must be posted on the Frequency Board when on the track.
· Vehicle must have a body when on the track.
· No vehicle repairs on the track.
· Please be courteous to other drivers during practice

8. General Vehicle Rules
· Bodies: Use appropriate body for your Class*. No “Lola” style.
· Tires: Any
· ESC: Any
· Electric motor: Any, unless it is class specific (i.e. Mini - Black Can, GT2 –Black Can)*
· Nitro engine: Sedan .18(max),
· Nitro vehicles must have a fail safe and throttle return spring.
· Hop-ups: Unless otherwise stated below, you can use any hop-up for your car.

*See Class Specific Rules for further details.

9. Class Specific Rules

· Outlaw Mini
o Mini style body
o Tamiya M03S/M/L and M04 only
o Motor: 540 Sport Tuned Black Can

· Electric Touring GT2
o Motor: 540 Sport Tuned Black Can
o Sedan style body

· Electric Touring Open
o Anything goes! (Brushless, Lipo)
o Sedan style body

· Nitro Sedan
o Max engine .18
o Failsafe & Throttle return spring mandatory

. Rally
o 540 Silver Can
o WRC body(with exceptions)

10. Race Rules
· Drivers will run three 5-minute qualifiers to determine positions for Mains.
· Mains: Drivers will be split into Mains (A-Main, B-Main, etc.) based on Qualifier position. A-Main limited to top 6 Qualifiers.
· Nitro Sedan

A-Main: 30minutes
B-main: 15minutes
C-main: 10minutes

· All other Classes 5minute race.

11. Marshalling
Each driver must marshal at the end of his Qualifier/Race. No exceptions.
If the vehicle breaks down the marshal shall bring the car into the pits. They will not perform any on-track repairs. The use of gloves is advised when you are marshalling a Nitro class.

12. Trophies, Prizes & Best of Show

· Trophies will be awarded for each Class at the end of day.

· Random prize draws will be held throughout the day
· Best of Show: We will have a concourse and award a Best of Show trophy. Each driver will vote on his or her favorite car. You cannot vote for your own car.

Powder Puff Race

There will also be a Powder Puff Race for the ladies so bring your daughters, moms, wives, sisters, and grandmas.
There's also $10 fee/donation for this class/race and cars will be provided by MRCC.
