What you are describing are the symptoms which happened to my Novak set-ups also.

It was diagnosed as a complete MOSFET failure. I'm hoping that it is a lot or batch issue with the MOSFETs which were sourced because I now have two new GTB units in-hand and I am hoping they provide the reliable service which I've generally come to expect from Team Novak products.

As an aside, I just received my 2nd Warrenty replacement, and apparently they shipped it in a padded envelope. The switch and pins for the wiring is mashed and the ESC no longer looks symmetrical.

Novak Electronics is ebbing and flowing back and forth with their reputation at the moment, in my perspective. Thankfully their Customer Service has provided the consistency which their new GTB product has not.

Have you tried running your replaced GTB set ups?..If so, are they working well, or did you just get another set of bad electronics.

My 1st (replacement) GTB setup is installed in my B4 and I have plugged it in and powered it up, yet I have not actually run it on a track yet. I'm hoping to get to go to Fast Cats sometime for some practice. I've got my fingers crossed that everything is OK. I'll bring one of my back-up ESCs just in case.

My 2nd (replacement) GTB setup is not installed. I'm waiting to hear back from Novak regarding it's fate. I did not want to install it in my BJ4 until I know what their recommended plan is. If they want it back then I will have to ship it out.

Either way, I am reading so many mixed reviews regarding the reliability of this particular model (Spread Spectrum Optimized GTB).

From the limited amount of time I had it running, I can say "holy crap, this thing is crazy fast". Hopefully I can handle the power and speed.
