cx2 battery

       Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
i have a battery from a cx2 heli that wont take a charge is there anything i can do to bring it back to life or is it junk now ?

it is likely dropped below the minimum voltage....the trick with LIPOS is to stop using them as soon as they start to lose performance..until they are recharged...

if you have charger for nimh

start your pack at nimh mode and up the voltage of the pack to 6.5V and put it on regular lipo charge

I've done this before too.... but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not leave the pack on the charger unattended!!! LiPO's can, and will, explode if they are overcharged on the wrong setting. BTW...I was only able to save about 20% of the packs this way...also, if a LiIPO pack is BLOATED it is beyond saving and you must dispose of it safely right away.
