DON'T paint the outside though, it'll look crap after 3 minutes bashing. There's a reason you're suppossed to paint lexan on the inside, to protect the paint from being chipped/scratched etc.

Nice job on the de-anodising !!

I already know that...

Under the body... Shiny... looks OK...

Now paint the exterior side... now this looks bad**...

As for durability... I'm told that the side pods are the ones that the paint starts to chip. And then I've read to use Plastidip in the spray form.

Flat Black does look nice on that, but after painting a car body on the outside once I'll never do it again hehehe

With a can of Krylon aerosol paint a repaint is easy...wash a spray again. Works for a basher body. The other place the paint off is under the fuel filler from the gas.

It's really too bad that it doesn't last on the outside, that satin like finish is killer....VERY VERY cool...
