Red face What to use to clean RC?

What do you guys use to clean your nitro RC's? I have been using a Simple Green/Water mixture...which I know is widely used...

The thing I am wondering is, is there Denatured Alcohol in Canada? You hear about it everywhere in the States, but I have yet to find it in Canada

If not, what is the main cleaner that you use?

Thanks Guys,

I use a product alled total clean I get it for my motorcycle. It is simialar to spray nine. I spray it on and blow it off with air compressor. No rinsing and it seems to leave a fine film and the truck that helps keep the dust and mud off.

For my electric stuff I use automotive electrical cleaner.

Hope this helps

WD-40 works really well on plastic with that wierd dirt that you can never get off. makes it look like new (without the scratchs)

I've purchased denatured alcohol here before. Believe it or not, I found it at the dollar store (500ml) bottle. Not a lot, but it should be enough for a few cleanings and only cost a buck

I too have used simple green and water mix. I now use fantanstic and water mix to clean and use a air compressor to dry off. Then WD-40 to resist rust/corrosion and leave a non-stick film so dirt doesn't stick so easy next time. There are quite a few ways to get your RC's clean...but I haven't tried the denatured alcohol yet but I know it disapates grease and oil pretty quickly!
