when i broke my revo in i idled it for the 1st tank. and a bit, then i did what traxxas said, im on my 3rd gallon and my 2nd plug, and the engine is a running good and is a wheely machine at low temps!, let us know how the break in goes.
need another MUGEN !!!

Just follow the DVD instructions and you won't go wrong.

When you let the engine cool down be sure the the piston is a bottom dead center. 1 - it increases the engines life and 2 - prevents the piston from being stuck at TDC when the engine cools down.

Lastly... for all your Revo questions to be answered your best bet is this forum and Traxxas and use the "Search" feature.

I to have just finished the breakin on a 3.3 REVO ,My tip is to warm the motor with a heat gun and it will fire up in just seconds ,i didn't do this untill I got fed up with Blisters and cut knuckles (fins on cooling head are very sharp) from pulling the pull start for an hour . the EZ-start system was removed infavor of a pull starter

the heat gun tip is really useful for a new engine, since the piston and sleeve is really tight...

if ur truck stalls alot during breakin, try leanin the needle a bit.

Follow the traxxas DVD and it will run mint!!! I just broke mine in the other day and it is running like a charm!!! It's awesome!!
