Generally savage out of a box is a little lazier than a revo or a t-maxx, its a little heavier, however its tough as hell, hpi plastic for some reason is just more flexible. Either choice is a good pick, but for bigger air go savage. If you can get the one with the K4.6 motor its actually pretty snappy. (as for the 3-speed version, i didnt like it -too much load).

Tamiya F-350 or Toyota Hilux. A lot of fun to build, and well they just look so much like a real truck.

If you're looking to get into a great truck that you won't outgrow then go savage. But if you're just looking to have some fun with a smaller electrict ruck for bombing around your yard, the old tamiya kits are cheap and a ton of fun. Something like the midnight pumpkin is a riot. Not for serious racing or anything though. I ended up selling my savage cause I just didn't have the room to run it at my house, but my lunchbox still comes out at least once a month.

Nice suggestions guys.

But I think he is done with the 10 post limit.

This thread was created by Tanker last Feb. 6 and never replied ever since. Makes you wonder if he appreciate all the typing you did.

I hope I stand corrected.
