The X has a good one

I have tried a couple of roll cages in the past when I was new to RC. I found out the expensive way that a good magority of those roll cages are more of a novilty than a functional item.

They make the truck heavy, top heavy that is and are a pain in the a when it comes time to do a repair!!!!!

The best roll cage I've hade to date is the stock savage X roll cage as it is light, takes impacts really well rather than bending out of shape and it really does'nt get in the way at all.

If you buy one of the metal roll cages you will find that in a mounth or two it will be bent or broken. As for the really strong ones that you see cars parked on, well that just means there strong enough to break what ever they are mounted to!!! rather than absorbing the inpact like the savage X one does. Just my 2 cents worth:GRIN:

^Nice argument. I too have been cruising roll cages for my new SavageX as they look kinda cool and give the illusion of increased durability. I will stick to the stock bits.
