tire foam how to...

This is what i do for my foams, it works for me, others may not like it....
start with a new foam, i used a new rock lizard foam, cuz most every one has them.
start by doing the usual start cutting pattern, i used a razor blade cutter for this, it was what i had kicking around.
Then take cut material from each of the "spikes" to make a row of 3 wide fingers.
do this all the way around and end up with something like this....
This is the way every one of my foams has been cut, and it seem to work great.
