this may be dumb but? myself and my two boys are all getting rc trucks , we have got rc10t4 but we have to buy radios. because of the cost of 3 trucks and 9 batteries we have to start with fm radios and up grade later. but hears my question, will crystals swap between --airtronics--futaba--jr--hitec ? its why we all went with the same trucks, swap parts and spares. and is one radio any better than the other?

thanks peter

A radio suggestion

If you are going to run FM I would recommend the JR XS3. It does not use crystals and you can switch channels if necessary. It is rather cheap but works great for me. Most guys recommend the Spektrum to avoid any issues but this will be determined by the amount of cash you have to spend.
