Werks Fuel

I was looking for some input on what peoples thoughts were on Werks racing fuel. I considering bringing in a whole shipment into an area that is currently using Sidewinder.
The other thing I was wondering about was how important is it to stay with the same fuel that you broke in your engine with ....
I never did follow that rule but I never did care about blowing up motors either, the life span of a race motor usually isn't that long between rebuilds.

As one of the racers in my club once said " Are you willing to sacrifice a motor to win the race?...........well I am"

Werks fuel is good i know allot of people in the US use werks fuel. Someone correct me if i am wrong, herd it hard to see a trail of smoke when using the werks fuel, meaning it might be difficult for some people to tune the engine since some people tune to how much smoke comes out of the exhaust. Werks fuel ROCKS!!!!! If I could that's all I would use. There's only two other fuels that can compare to Werks and thats Tornado and the Sidewinder Canadian Blend Clear stuff (a.k.a. the Eight Ball).

But I really like Werks fuel. But it's not for inexperienced nitro burners. Go a little too lean with Werks, or the Eight Ball and your temps will skyrocket. If the engine is tuned properly Werks and Eight Ball will allow your engine to run cooler. Tune too lean and..... Anyways, Werks is top notch Racing fuel but it's for experienced racers only. Same with Eight Ball. And no other fuel keeps you bearings in as good shape as Werks and Eight Ball.

Still trying Tornado! But I've run many gallons of Werks and loved every drop of it! Engines run great on the stuff. But as Tekno said Werks doesn't smoke a lot. It's much harder to use the smoke trail as a tuning guide. Another reason why I say that Werks is for experienced Nitro heads only.

Too bad you're in Nova Scotia! It'd be nice to have a steady flow of Werks Fuel here. I thought I saw Fastcats with some more 30%.

But it 's great stuff. Snappy, engines run cool, yadda yadda yadda.
