Same prob here. she'll get stuck wide open at the most horrible times lol, it loves walls. I changed motors thinking the brushes on my modded motor were done,no luck...thinking ESC is done.

1. Range check your radio system with the transmitter antenna collapsed. Have a friend hold your truck up off the ground and wiggle the steering. You should get at least 50-75' range.

2. Repeat with the motor running. If range is greatly reduced then you likely have a problem with the motor brushes arcing. To cure this you need to add three 0.1 uF capacitors to your motor. One each from motor + and - to the motor case and then one between + and -.

3. If the range is equally poor in tests 1 & 2 above, check to make sure your antenna wire is not broken. You will need to crack open your receiver case and check the antenna wire resistance from where it connects on the receiver printed circuit board out to the free end.
