That is very true. And for a receiver pack, glo igniter, anything which will not be applied for a high-current type scenario, it is probably best to charge as slowly as you can. The faster you charge the battery, the faster the battery can discharge... aka... the more power you can get out of er', less voltage drop during usage. As a general rule, charge slowly for runtime, fast for power.

The 12 Volt 7.2amp gel cells should be charged at a 600mah charge rate and it will be a over night charge 12-14hrs and 16hrs max. I wouldnt go any higher than 600mah charge rate for your safety and for the life of the battery.
