I am going to win me a prize, either big or small, even if it's just a donation, I'll be there!!!!

Yeah, hopefully it will build steam like the nitro series and expand. It would be great to have a nice big series for electrics!

GLORCS in association with Sid's Raceway is pleased to announce the creation of "eGLORCS". After the elimination of 1/10 scale from GLORCS we began to get requests to find a way to bring back smaller scale racing to GLORCS. After much discussion with Sid's Raceway we were able to come to an agreement to do a trial season of racing at their track to guage the interest level. We will be racing electric 2wd and 4wd buggy as well as Stadium Truck, with all of the races being one day events.

We have included the race dates here for the 2008 season. There will be more information coming soon when the new GLORCS website is released. The points will be awarded in the same manner as GLORCS and racers will have to compete for their best 3 out of 4 races, allowing for one drop. We will be awarding trophies at the final and will have great prizes and giveaways along the way!! We will be releasing information on our sponsors for this event in the next issue of "The Starter Box" which will be available soon!!

It is our hope that this new series will help to bolster the interest in electric racing and maybe increase the number of people running theses classes at their local tracks.

2008 is shaping up to be one fantastic season for racing and we
look forward to seeing everyone track side.

The 2008 eGLORCS Schedule

May 18, 2008
June 29, 2008
July 20, 2008
August 24 (Final)
