People will tend to respond to posts from people they know first which makes it hard for a newbie to get involved. This is on any forum not just here.

The regulars also get tired of answering the same questions over and over. Newbies tend to get the "Use the Search feature" line....and they should. A lot can be learned through this feature.

There is also many good comments made already that also play into it.

Whats just as bad is people who dont respond to PM's
Team Losi Mini-T x2
Losi XXX-T Brushless
Tamiya 2 x M03s / DF-02 Rising Storm
HPI Savage X / 2 x MT2 SS
Traxxas E-Maxx Brushless / Slash

I must admit, i forgot about the search thing. You all have good point`s. I like posting question`s, because you get to know the people here a little better with them answering your question`s. It`s also a way of communication, as we are doing now, which i think is laking in this world. Nice to see different people answering this post and you responses.

I notice that I tend to give posters of already answered questions the benefit of the doubt if their post is reasonably articulate.

I'm sorry to say this, but if the post looks like 10 miles of bad road, I usually ignore the question.

I know myself on, I will sometimes check out the same build thread or tech thread in general several times to reference something. Unless I posted on there, then maybe its to add a reply.

My build thread for my micro rs4 on has 110 replies (59 are mine) and I have 5,534 views on it... LOL. A few hundred I would assume are mine over the past few months of that build thread being active. I'm impressed having over 5,000 views of something I started. Not that it is anything worthwhile tho.

If you are more active and post frequently, eventually you start to get known on the site(s) or around meets, tracks etc. It just slowly snowballs into something. Then you tend to have more fun in this thing called "hobbying" and you get more out of it.

Now if only I could just learn to stop typing ......

dang .. addicting .. rc .. forums ... gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Here`s a perfect Example !!

312 veiw`s and only 22 reply`s. Out of those 312, most of them have to no Teff and even if they don`t, someone got robbed and they could at least say sorry, good luck, anything would be nice. I only met Teff at T-Burg and i think he`s a good guy, he helped me out and that`s what it`s all about. We are all part of this sport and feel for each other, at least we should !!

My 2 cents, again
