Send the old 3.3 into Traxxas and get a new one with the ERP (engine replacement program). I have tried a few Big Blocks and keep coming back to the 3.3. The powerband is very well matched to the truck. TRAXXAS has lowered the price to $110. You can't beat that IMO. Why would you want anything else???

Thanks for the replies everyone!

Thanks for the Pic's bannaman, Your Revo looks sweet. If I installed a center diff that would help keep the front wheels on the ground right?

Now for the bumpstart. Isn't there only one box that will work for the Revo? Where would i be able to get one at, because i checked Great Hobbes and they didn't have it. Are there any Canadian stores that sell it?

Kyosho777, I was thinking of doing that, but I think I want to go with something that isn't Traxxas.

going with the 3.3 motor

i agree with martin about running the 3.3

its more than enough power for the revo plus you can buy a piston and sleeve for it for about 70 bucks. a new piston and sleeve for my rb concepts tm523 that i was running in my revo is like 200 bucks.

It will definitely tame the wheelies, however you will get more of the tire ballooning effect to which ever tire(s) loose traction (i.e - the fronts when they come off the ground going over bumps or around corners)
I love the smell of nitromethane in the morning. Smells like...victory"
