clutch bell discoloration

I just noticed on my clutch bell, that there is some discoloration.
I think from overheating, maybe the the clutch is rubbing.

Any thoughts on the cause of this, or is this normal.

I have a Thunder Tiger ST-1, and just broke the engine in.

did you do a lot of ideling of the motor with the wheels on the ground? and how bad is the discoloration... just a bit or quite a bit?
if its a lot, and you were ideling tanks with the vehicle on the ground, then it sounds like the clutch might have been dragging the whole time, overheating the bell.
you might want to check your clutch shoes and springs condition.

I don't think the discoloration is very bad.
I just never noticed it before on any other bells, and thought it was out of the ordinary.
Thanks for the advise, I will check the shoes, and keep a eye on it.
