well, I think that is would be a good truck converted to electric, not too sure about that, but I have the idea that is would be better than a rustler.

but any racing is good racing, its for fun, run what you have.

Race ready Jato 3.3.......

Well I don't think I would consider the Jato to be a competitive Stadium truck,I would say it,give it a try.....whats the worse that can happen??It doesn't work and you'll have to buy another truck:YEAH:

More trucks is always good

Aside from Radio gear(which should be priority#1) & tires you will need to get the single speed conversion kit to be legal.....you could just tune the tranny so that it wont hit 2nd,but I don't know if they will let that fly at a race. You will more than likely need a transponder(for lap counting),fail safe and or throttle return spring, also check to see if there is a cc limit(fuel tank limit) at the place you are going to race.Like you already mentioned good tires are also needed....shop around for those there really important.....

I may have missed a thing or two but I'm hungry so I'm outta here, someone else wil prolly fill in the gaps.......

Hope the truck works for you,I would like to see a Jato be track worthy.......and if anything happens to it LMK I gotta roller kickin around

there was a jato the qual. in the top 2 of the rc pro series finals A main 2 years ago and was dialed! i believe he went on to win the Amain gas truck too:GRIN:

it a very good truck but you need to put a .12 motor in it and loose the 2 speed to make it legal

RC Car Action did a Jato race truck project and it looked uber sweet by the end, one of the cleanest looking stadium trucks I'd seen. I don't know how it handled though, but if you want to race it's worth a shot. I think it would be a cool thing once made race legal.
