What's the difference between the zx5 and the zx5sp? I think one of these may be what i want ....

The sp version has a bunch of suspension updates. It makes a better handling car, but the ZX-5 is still a good car as it is. Also, the sp kit can be purchased and added to any ZX-5. For most drivers, myself included, the improvement is not that important. If you're a racer, that's different. Hope this helps.

Minor rear suspension changes and new front end suspension & geometry. I liked the handling of both though. The SP has a bit more steering and a bit more rear traction. I wouldn't pass up a deal on a used regular Lazer (you can buy the SP conversion kit as an option later on), but if you are buying new, just get the SP. If you see me at the track and want to try it just ask me.
