The link that Narly1 posted is the setup that I used at the Spring Shakedown and it works very well.
I would suggest using a 19T brushed or 10.5T brushless motor with that setup.
Another tip I would offer is to take a couple of minutes when you arrive at the track to setup your slipper clutch properly for that specific surface on that given day. This IMO is over looked far to often. You should hear your slipper clutch (high pitch whine) for the first 2-4 feet of acceleration. (This should be tested on the actual track).
