Still like my Matrix TR. Andy Smolnik has given me some crazy set-ups to try out. Looking forward to it!

Sure the Associated will be a stroooong runner though in the hands of the right drivers.

guessing Cav is already driving this bad boy by now anyways. Any feedback on his thoughts yet?

5 gallons of fuel later

Five gallons of fuel later and still haven't broken the shock towers. Thought those were going to be the weak point, shows what I know...................

Parts gone through so far...........2 clutch from normal wear and tear, the other casue I tried the .9 spring set up and it failed miserably. Still with the 1.0's if you are running high powered engines.....

Installed the Golden Horizons upper plate and front arm mounts as well just to be safe...........other than that this buggy makes me look like a champ, lord knows my driving hasn't improved.............
Currently running:

Team Associated RC8/Jammin .21
Tamiya 801xt
Tamiya Tamtech Porsche
Tamiya Tamtech Frog
Tamiya F350 Hilift

I haven't had one come unplugged until I put this brand new lipo in. I forgot to trim the extra heatshrink and it was putting presure on the plug. I did tumble just before too so this didn't help. my old lipo I have used for months without issue... and racing with the nitros I have to do a battery swap half way. too much hassle for the pit man to deal with tape. I am designing a velcro strap for the plugs, and did some work to my battery tray with velcro too. it was just a fluke thing and broke my first part since I have owned it, including bmx track airtime. I got the GH upper steering plate as soon as they made them and that was before the service pack.

anyway. I think this looks like the platform for putting the new mamba monster a neu 1515 in, or maybe my 1512 when I drop a 1509 in my buggy (I have 6 Associated now, might as well add another)

Amain has it for $624 + shipping US. I figure the LHS would have it for $700-$715 CDN out the door. Manufacture Retail Suggested Price doesn't matter. Man i have to get one of these, going to have to save some mula! Tekno.
