cen monster trucks

hey roger,

cen monster trucks are pretty durable. the genesis might be a tad heavy to make a racer out of it . most hobby shops near me dont even carry cen parts

i had an old savage ss and it was also a real pain to work on. but hpi has improved the savage leaps and bounds and now my new savage xl is much easier to work on. the diffs can be removed in minutes unlike my old savage ss.

as far as an lst2 monster truck i owned one briefly ,raced it at full throttle and i sold it right after the main as it sat. the tranny in those lst arent very reliable and the diffs dont seem to hold up to the abuse of racing hard.

the best monster truck imo for racing is the revo hands down.

but if you want to try and race your cen monster contact the woodstock rc club and they can probably help you with some tips as they race cens.

lastly what link is jeddd talking about? i dont see any link in this thread at all.

Durable Truck

Hey Trash Metal...I am setting my Cen Gst up for pulling a sled..I just finished modding an engine...The Newer savages have made great progress in this last year..I just seen a fellow with a savage XL 5.9
it had the Cen 7.7 big block for engine..I don't know if came that way or if he changed the engine...I have a chance to buy a savage XL for like 4 bill's..But I think I might move up to 1/5 scale Gas.. Still might buy the Savage..Like I mentioned before they all have ther problems no matter the brand a person own's..
I have had no problems getting parts for the Cen Gst ..just have to know where to look for them on the net..
As too Jedddd's comment I would also like to know what he is talking about myself...
Thanks for head's up on woodstock club..
