Savage by far , proven reliable , huge parts and aftermarket support .
Basically a higher quality , stronger truck.

Sideways and on the gas .

Which off road truck Cen or Savage

Well I own a Cen Genesis...We all as RC Hobbiest make choices for what we think is a good choice..I just happen to pick the Genesis..All though not owning a savage so I can not speak for that...Both of these trucks have good and bads issues just like many others...
But I say to learn about what you have ask questions and have fun in this hobby..Share information with others that's what it is all about no matter what you own...Radio Control is a great fun hobby no matter what you have:truggy, buggy, boat, airplane, on road car...we all want too enjoy this great hobby..

while there may not be a huge local parts supply, CEN has very good parts support direct, they have a gaurantee that if they dont have a part in stock when you order it, you get it for free when it does come in, they also have a lifetime engine warrantee, it doens't get much better as far as support from the factory, also any shop that deals with horizon or great planes (basically every good store) can order parts for CEN vehicles, CEN also makes alot of their own hop ups for the GST, there are also a couple other companies making stuff for them, dont know the names off hand,

performance wise, I had an orignal savage, and the savage 25, and they really are basically the same truck as the CEN, both are about the same degree of difficulty to work on, both drive similar, other than the CEN being heavier and bigger, I dont think I've ever broke either, again this is compared to the original and savage 25, I'm not sure if the XL is based on them or the X versions,
