I have run outta break cleaner, and was unsure if either Carb cleaner or Throttle body cleaner was safe to use to cleanout my diffs/ shocks...I was just wondering if either one would swell or break down the O rings?

absolutely do not use carb cleaner or throttle body cleaner - it will damage the o-rings for sure, and also attacks plastic.
Varsol works well, and is relatively inexpensive if you buy the jug and put a small amount in a container and use a toothbrush to scrub the diffs cups (and other parts) out. Then just clean the varsol off with warm water and dish soap.
If you're trackside, non-chlorinated brake cleaner and a toothbrush do the best job in a pinch.
On a side note, you really should have the o-rings removed from either the shocks or diff cups before you go to clean them. The brake cleaner and even the varsol can contribute to premature hardening and/or deterioration of the seals.

Try something called break free. It's awesome stuff! Imagine WD40 on steroids. Also makes for great after run oil. Good luck!
