STLR was on fire this past weekend taking first and second in Buggy and Truggy!! With our new GRP Engines on there second big race and pretty much broken in we are so excited as they are working so well. Coming off the track at 160 - 180 temp and tons of power everywhere!

Every time we head across the border we know we have a big target on us because as Canadians we have taken alot of hardware home over the years. This year was no exception as we were informed many hot drivers had come up to FTR as a warm up race for there RCPRO race next month so we were not sure what would happen. As it was we dominated. Congrats also to Martin for the Monster win. In fact Canadians took 1, 2, 3, in Monster Truck!

In Buggy Dave H took the TQ and Drove on for the win with Abiye skying it out giving his absolute best but falling just a little short taking second place, great run guys!

In Truggy Dave H took the TQ and this time really stretched out a good lead and drove on flawlessly for the win. Marshalling one of the busiest sections of the track after all the chaos from the start there was only one driver upside down. So as I flipped it over I was sad to see it was George, however he put is head down and drove great to take a well earned 2nd place finish!

A big thank you to Jason and crew for battling not one but 2 major downpours. The fact that we even got on the track was truly impressive! A great weekend as always!!

Thank you again to Sprucewood Leasing, Team Losi, Pinnacle Hobby, GRP, Spektrum, Morgan Fuels, Hobbycraft, Ace, Hopcraft Airbrushing and King Heads without you guys none of this would be possible!

Congratulations once again guys!!! You ALL ran extremely well, and once again Dave showed us all how it's supposed to be done!

All I can say about Abiye's driving is WOW! A few more bobbles by Dave and he would have had his hands full.

That aweful start got Dave out to a comfy lead, and the race was one for second place. The race between Abiye (Sprucewood) and Luther (TQ) was amaaaaazing. My hats off to both of these guys. They changed positions like 6 or 7 times in the last 10 minutes. Quite a show!!!

There was even some, ummm..."questionable" marshalling to Dave Henry's buggy (which was o b v i o u s) but he still pulled it off. Way to shake it off Dave.

Matt Devries lost lost hit wing early in the race and it clearly effected his handling. Sadly, he didn't do as well as he (or everyone else) was hoping as a result of this. Nice running though Matt!

In truggy, Ryan McKay 'lit it up' and represented Woodstock R/C well with his CEN truggy. He bobbled a few times, and subsequently lost a few positions in the end but WOW, what an amazing driving display. Thanks Ryan, you put on a great show out there!!!

With only two qualifiers, it was bump, bump, bump city wasn't it? LOL... A HUGE high five to MR. Ben Wheeler who clawed his way from the C main in buggy to the show, only to have mechanical problems. I'm sure he expected something to let go after running 60 minutes prior to the A. I know we all did, but nice job anyway Ben!

Another weekend to log into the memory banks. See you all soon, and congratulations once again to Team Sprucewood for their performances.

Ben Wheeler was out front when his battery died. Or something like that.
He was very fast.

Congratulations to Team Sprucewood and dancing Dave M. Dodging buggies with the greatest of ease. He was very busy. Safety first.
