So i broke the shaft on my second sidwinder 5700 kv castle is going to replace it for free last time with a 2 week wait it took 2 months to get it back this time there is a 4 week wait so i figure i'll be lucky to get it back by the end of the summer. My question is my esc is has a 5700kv limit can i run a traxxas motor at 3500kv. I know that the traxxas less so i should be able to run it but they rate there 3500 equal to a 10 but i didn't think castle rated my 5700kv that low. Am i missing some or is traxxas just over stating the compairison to brushed. The only reason im picking traxxas is i can get one on ebay for 40 bucks, or suggest another motor thanks for the help

Probably Traxxas overrating as I have heard the Castle 5700 being like an 8-10 turn.

I know the "12 Turn" motors in my kids' Stampedes don't perform like any 12T I've ever owned before... More like 17T
