Is Nitro RC considered Motorized vehicle, i was told today to get off bike track, there is a sign posted saying such, I didn't think it was but i listened and left, just wondering what others think.

I don't really think its a vehicle and the sign is posted more for atv's / dirtbikes i would just stay out of the bikes way and if police tell you to leave you should problly leave without argument.
I have trouble keeping my revo on the ground

Not police

It wasn't police that told me to leave, but the kid was holding a shovel and though he might be stupid and hit my truck and then i would have to kick his a**. So i just left.

would u have left or go over the ramps anyway.

Had my girlfriend there and my son. 11 years old i didn't want to look like i was a wussy so i raced around a little, (You know he looks up to me a bit not really my kid.) but i feel like i did the right thing, I still want to go over those ramps( nice and BIG)

honestly if it were me they might say no motorized vehicles but go by that definition as most people would take it. meaning something big enough for a human to ride on ie no atv's or dirt bikes. a nitro is just as at home on a BMX track as a bike is heck our race tracks are basically scaled down BMX. I would have told the kid tooff and went about my business. if he so much as made a threatening move or took a swing I'd call the police and have him escorted away in silver bracelets if you get my meaning. it's one thing to politely ask you to leave if they feel you are causing a disturbance it's quite another to make threats or threatening postures. just for that you could have him charged

actually a motorized vehicle means anything that runs on a motor LOL....which means your RC is a motorized vehicle.....Why would you want to run it where there are bikes anyways? thats just an accident waiting to happen.....I'm glad you packed up and left...that was a smart move on your part.

Here in Brantford it is against the by-laws to run a fuel powered model of any kind within the city limits....which means if anyone complains to the by-law officer the offending RC'er can be fined.

I agree with both MT2 and Canuck, as i would consider motorized as some thing in the dirt bick range, but yes a Nitro RC does fall under that. But again these are so small conpared to a dirt bike and a ATV, i don`t see a problem in runing them as long as you are not bothering anyone or getting in the way.
YES I would like to tell anyone to go them self`s if they told me to leave, but that only will cause a problem for all of us runing our RC`s where ever we can, they will only come down harder on ALL of us, as where we can run. i think you did the right thing, find out if you can un there, then go back and tell that person that you are not braking the law.

Good luck with that !!

To all, please don`t cause problem`s when people confront you about your Nitro RC`s, as it is hard enough to find places to run and tune your RC instead of waiting to go to the track. Stiring the pot will only cause us problem`s as where we can run !

Thank`s and Enjoy !!!!
