Exclamation ARCC onroad update

We were ready to race at the Brooklyn District School tennis courts last night and when we got there unfortunately we found that the tennis courts are now in full use, so this location has become unavailable to us.

The good news is that I have been talking to the recreation department in Windsor and they are going to allow us to use the basketball court area behind the Tim Horton’s downtown Windsor.

The area is smaller then the tennis courts but it has been just paved and is gated off to traffic and is a controllable area for the public. It will provide excellent awareness of this hobby because of the location and I would suspect that race nights would always draw large crowds. I was also told that the club racing schedule would also be promoted through the recreation department as well once we have enough racers at the track I would bring in the local paper to do a write up on the onroad club.

I really hope that we can have a successful onroad season this summer, but I am looking for your help to do it .......... so if you have been wanted to try onroad racing but were waiting for the right time,...... This is it. The track is suited for sedan racing so for now there will be 2 classes run - nitro and electric. We will be keeping the same days and time so again it will be every Mon nights from 5pm till dusk.

If you have any questions I would urge you to come down for a night and see what it is all about. Or you can contact myself, Dave Iverach or Geoff Davis.

Ya, Ya I know, I see the carnage, but it's still race-able. Isn't it?
