E-REVO has landed...

Fresh from the hands of the postmaster...Ordered from Tower Hobbies (while in-stock) last June 12 and arrived today. Paid $399.99 for it, that is less $50 international coupon code. All in all total cost with shipping, taxes and Canada Post handling fee...$499.52. (not bad). The waiting time is the only thing that sucks.

Opened the box and see why there are lots of REVO lovers around. This is such a masterpiece. I am used to T/E-Maxxes, this one will be totally new to me. Got the A4 fequency/body - Black with a hint of red and gunmetal color. It comes with the manual, sticker sheet, tools, small oil bottle, max steering throw option, optional rockers and spring set.

Anyways, you will be seeing lots of this for sure on your LHS anytime soon. Really worth the money for me. You will love the low slung silhouette body and the black chroming of bumpers and wheels. the design itself is beautiful. I am not fond of the 2 motor orientation, but I'll be going single brushless in the future.

As boxed by tower hobbies. The outer box is bigger and longer.

New and sealed. This E-REVO box is totally simple as opposed to the boxes I have with my E-Maxx and T-Maxx before, that has lots of in-pics and details of the kit.

The only available freq. and color from towers. I am glad I got it.

It will be stock for the moment. I have another EVX-2 from my E-Maxx, so this new one will be sold.

Everythng you will get inside the box. Plus the radio which I forgot to include in the pic.

I won't be able to run it this week, I have work till next monday. Hopefully, next week will be sunny and warm. I hope Chin Park BMX track is dry by then.

e-revo has landed

looks like a nice machine.

mine will be arriving today so ill be picking it up from my local hobby shop.

i got mine for 449 plus taxes. i agree the waiting period was stressful. lol

with the price of nitro going up its perfect timing to get my e-revo too because mine is going brushless with 3s lipos.

will post some pics once ive done the conversion.

i think alot of guys will dump their nitro revos for the e-revo in the near future. i know my 3.3 revo will be for sale very soon.

a kidney perhaps will be suffice .

I know what you mean. the moment I saw this at the traxxas boards, it is already on my priority wishlist. I saw how nitro REVOs run and they are just too cool. Being a battery guy, this is the biggest release for me yet.
