Sealing Engines

Before, i didn't think sealing nitro engines wasn't important now i do. When i got my axial .28rr motor(used), the carb was missing a needle so i got another carb. The motor had about 1 1/2 gals on her and when i put the carb on, it was hard put i could turn it over. Also, i had tunning issues, it wouldn't idle it would stall out etc. So, I decided to seal my engine and what i did was seal the back plate, carb, carb pinch bolt holes and screw and the HSN. The only thing i missed was the green slime on the o rings on the needles. Anyways, i let it cure for 24 hrs and i tryed turning her over i can't! which is a really good sign. I then started her up and she idles and tuning seems to be good. I think every engine should be sealed when you get it becuase, this will help eliminate tuning problems but, if that doesn't work then something is wrong with the carb or engine. I just wanted to share my experience with sealing engines and i will be sealing each engine i get. Next engine i will be sealing is my GO 7port engine. Tekno.
