Learned The Hard Way !!

For all you that are just starting out in Nitro, Make sure your battery`s are fully charged or as close to it as possible and don`t run them to much. I was running my batt for a couple of practice`s, 3 Qual`s and the main, it was holding out for a while, until last weekend when to pack`s that where not fully charged decided to take over my buggie, they where doing better then i was until a corner came and my buggie went. First time i clipped a fence poll and the second i got some good distance off of our second turn burm and ended up out way out in the field ( thank`s to the marshal that ran after it and shut it off ).
So, ALWAYS make sure your battery`s are charged !!

As far as fail safe`s go, i`ve heard sometime`s they work and sometime`s they don`t.

re batteries with not enough juice to make it through the main

thats why i only run lipo receiver packs in both my truggy and monster truck now.

i can run 3 qualifiers and the main and still have enough power to run a few more races. gotta love lipos.
after buying a few losi 2s 2000 lipos and a couple of voltage regulators i threw out all my old nimh hump packs.
