now that the glorcs 2008 season has come to an end we should thank gump , craig brister and all the glorcs reps who go through all the headaches and logistics to put together such a great series for us to participate in.

most of the work you guys do to make this series happen is behind the scenes and you have done a great job this year. providing serveys for the racers to give feedback was a great call as well. the racers spoke and you guys listened and tweaked things to make it even better.

i think people would be shocked at the amount of hours you guys spend on your own time organizing and planning this series. im looking forward to seeing what new and exciting things glorcs has planned for the 2009 season

well done guys.

Thanks Jordan - its been a great year for me. I never drove so well. I owe it mostly to a lot of homework, and partly to that 777WC I bought used from Derek! That thing has been amazing this season, and I barely changed ANY parts on it. I think I stripped the screws on 2 bulkheads (myt fault) and broke a couple of truggy wing stays (should have kept the buggy stay on there) and snapped one driveshaft against a metal spike. All other parts are as I got it. Almost unbelievable!!!

Anyways, the real thanks goes out to all of you. Without the racers, theres no series, and without the series theres no champion. And congrats to Peter and Martin for their respective wins!

Also, theres a lot of other stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Many volunteers stepped foreward and offered help early on this past season. I'd like to personally thank them for stepping to the plate. I can 100% gurantee that GLORCS would not have happened this year if it was not for the volunteers and the encouragement of other participants last winter. Thankyou all for coming out and the continued support.
