Check it out - the high voltage servos are starting to appear! We're talking unregulated voltage from lightweight 2 cell lipo receiver packs!

the technical specs say its for 50 size heli's, but the dimensions of the case directly compare to everything we run in 8th scale currently:

thats one beefy looking gear train:

i also recently sent an email to hitec and directly asked them if they're going to be releasing high voltage servos for unregulated lipos, and i got this reply:

"Hello Brian,

Thank you for choosing Hitec products. Unfortunately we do not recommend using our servos un-regulated with a lipo. You run the risk of burning the servo up prematurely. As for the future of our servos operating at 7.4V, we are currently working on it.
Thank you,

Looks liek there will be some nice equipment to choose from this coming spring!
