hey jeff,

i know you polled people who had werent part of glorcs series on purpose but what im saying is how about polling the actual guys who will be racing in the monster truck class if they want to run the 2 togther or seperate and then let glorcs set it up from there?

glorcs always welcomes input from the racers so if the majority of the racers in monster truck class say run nitro and electric togther then set it up that way. if the majority say to run them seperate then run them seperate.

personally it doesnt matter to me if they run them together or seperate because imo in the end driver skill will be the main factor determining who wins, not who has the fastest vehicle.

totally agree Kev ... I am waaay more interested/concerned that MT gets a little more respect at the events (longer Amain for one) than whether we race together or not

I really think the question shouldn't be whether they are even or not (I'll argue that fact all day LOL) but whether us as MT drivers want them racing and scored together regardless

I think we should race together no matter what since we never get anymore than 2 heats anyway ... and as for scoring I don't really care but it would seem to me that would depend on the number of electric guys we get out ... if there are enough of them to group them separate then get them their own trophies ... I don't really see that as likely early on (but it wouldn't surprise me) ... but if there are only like 6 or 8 guys running electric MT's in the series then I say we score together

nitro vs batt

The saga continues

There is always going to be issues with this! Do we even have a poll on how many people will be racing either class next year? If so that should pretty much sort it out for everyone no? If there are enough guys to run their own class then they will! In my opinion, honestly i don't really care... If they put them together then they should have the pit stop and any other issue resolved. If they want to run them together and score them seperatly then thats ok too. If they run together with fairness of pit stops in play then we could possibly end up with 4 heats of MT and that would be great for all running MT. I think i would rather run in a class where i would have to work for the A main!!!!! if there are 4 heats of MT that might even bring out more people who don't currently race it. If anyone wants a heads up race between nitro and electric MT just let me know when and where and i'll be there. Maybe glorcs can use Tillsonurg as a test? just my .02 cents

Scoring the MT's together make sense only in the fact that there is barely enough people in the class to keep it going. With the introduction of E-MT we are surely going to reduce the number of nitro trucks out there. In my opinion it would be almost pointless to race a nitro, I would much rather switch over to electric MT as there are far less headaches in regards to tuning. Letís just say that if last yearís MT Champion had been running an electric truck the gap would have been even larger.
