Well the snow is here but the weather was nice and we had another great crowd. The crew from up North and our usual contingent from PA joined us. There was some really close racing in all of the classes.

2WD Buggy
Well the Associated drivers werenít going to let the Kyosho guys get away with too many weeks of dominance. Chet Kelsey continues to own the 2wd class with his B4. He took TQ with the only 19 lap qualifier. Zack Myers had an excellent run with his RB5 by qualifying 2nd and John Summach was able to get a handle on the track and start 3rd. The B main had BQ Rick Siller fall back in traffic which allowed Jay Lovegrove to take the lead. Jay was able to hold the lead for ĺ of the race until Rick caught back up and got in front for the win. Chet Kelsey started his B4 in the A main up front and drove away with the race. The rest of the field got caught up in the 2nd lap allowing Rick Siller to get thru the pack in 2nd and hold off the pressure of John Summach the rest of the race. B4s took the top 2 positions with RB5s taking the next 3.

4WD Open
4WD is so competitive the top 6 drivers qualified within 5 seconds of each other. Dennis Himes TQed by 1 sec. over Brian Bellinger with Rick Redmin starting 3rd. The C main had a great battle between Randy Tredway and Zack Myers where Randy took the lead in the last lap and win by less than 1 sec. Zack and Jay Lovegrove had a good battle in the B main with Zack finishing out front. Rick Siller held onto 3rd. The A main was so close that 1 bobble and you went from 1st to last. The top 4 drives finished a total of 4 sec. apart. Brian Bellinger and Dennis Himes were battling out front until Dennis bobbled. Brian held onto the lead for the win, Dan Bach worked thru the field for 2nd and Rick Redmin finished 3rd.

Stadium Truck
With Tom Himes misplacing his truck (doníít ask) it was the Dan and Dan show with Bach taking TQ and Black starting 2nd. Brandon Oddo continues to improve and won the C main over Fred Johnson, who is another improving driver. BQ Jay Lovegrove started out front and took the B main for the bump into the A. Ryan Bossert drove a good race to finish 2nd and Brandon held on for 3rd. The A main finished the way it started but there was a lot of action in between. Dan Bach started out front for the win. Dan Black fell back early but worked his was back thru the field for 2nd. Rick Redmin was able to get in front of Anthony Muscato in the last lap to take 3rd.

The Slashes are getting dialed with Tom Himes taking top position with the first 18 lap qualifier. Kevin Siller started 2nd and Zack Myers 3rd. All 8 cars started the main and the driving was real competitive. Brian Bellinger took the win, Tom Himes 2nd and Zack Myers 3rd.

Slash Dash for Cash
All 8 cars entered the Dash. Everyone learned from last week and all but 2 cars were still on their wheels at the end of the 15 laps. Zack Myers was the most consistent and took the win.

Notes from the day
Itís always a good time when we get visitors from Canada (or anywhere else for that matter.) The atmosphere in the pits was very friendly with everyone sharing setup tips. We hope to see more of you this season. Dan Black did great in stadium truck considering he was driving an old school Losi. Watch out when he gets a new truck. Good new is Tom Himes found his stadium truck and will be out in full force next time. Itís good to see Kevin Peterson with a new ZX5 competing in 4WD and Randy Tredway is getting his car dialed in. Iím impressed with how good everyone is getting and the racing gets closer each week. Best thing was it appeared everyone had a good time.

Thanks again to everyone who came out and we hope to see you all again soon.
