NOTE: Well, since I don't see any forums dedicated for Painting (or related items), my best guess is this post could go here. If a mod feels it shouldn't be in General R/C, then feel free to move it.


Anyhoo, this past saturday I picked up my newly painted Sportwerks Recoil lids from The Zoom Room in Newmarket when I was on my way over to test out my Recoil at the track for the first time. So I figured I would share the new lids on here for all to see.

I'am impressed with both lids to say the least!


Anyhoo, photos ..

These were just snapped kind of quickly on my bed. I will eventually take better photos when they are mounted and such...lol.

Zoom room has prepainted bodies for sale like this? If so what did you pay for you lids?

Henry is on the the most creative painters i have seen.

Nope, not pre-painted... custom baby!

He does have some pre-painted bodies @ the shop however. But you would have to call or stop in to see what he has.


Basically I gave Henry some colours to work with for my lid and what he came up with was purely his creative ways.

As for my girlfriends body, basically she loves anything to do with cows so I gave him black and white to use. The cow face on the hood and doors, again something that he came up with that was totally unexpected. But the girlfriend adores it. She doesn't want to race with it..

$50 each for the lids btw.

oompa: Yeah I know. I'll have to invest in some oversized nerf foam and stack it around the car!
