On a Sad note!

I hate to be the bearer of bad and sad news, but I think this might be of some interest to a few of those with younge children who go to these shows.

See link..----> http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090117/...er_truck_death

This is truely a sad situation, and my condolences go out to the family.

I'm all for these moster truck shows and it is great fun for the whole family, but with any motor sport, it come with a price and even when I'm running my R/C trucks out on the street or in the park, I'm ever so nervius when there are children around and I tend to avoid letting them get even close to my trucks.

So when it comes to the real thing, (1/1 scale) the further away from the action is the safest place for the kids, and even some adults. But some people just have to be were all the action is and they put thier own life into the hands of others.

Now from what I've read and heard about this particular event is that this could have been prevented, but the show must go on........hmmmm! thats debatable......

I could go on and on, but I'm sure others will have much to say on this one.

On a happier note, I hope all that went to the Toronto show, had a great time, I couldn't make it, but I'm sure it was a great show and fun was had by all....
