ARGH! Glitching Problem! Help!

Hi Guys. I hope you can help me out. I have my Savage flux for some weeks now and I installed FM right from the start to avoid any glitching. I first ran this truck where I work (woodbridge area) and I have zero, absolutely flawless radio control.

Then, my first bash in my local bmx track here in chin park brampton, I occasionally get bad glitching (servo twitching and truck wanting to go on reverse). I though, since the leads of motor, ESC and battery leads are kinda far apart, I tied them down and somehow, I thought it will solve the problem.

Nope. On my 2nd outing on the same park, it got worse (same steering servo glitching and wanting to go on reverse). The guys who are playing there (using spektrum and 27AM) said it might be from the Radio Frequency from the nearby police station or the walkie talkies used by Park caretakers. Both of them have zero problems. I didn't finish my pack since I don't want to burn my ESC.

Last night, I tried installing my spare AM radio (at home/indoors) and after calibration, I walked a little away from the truck (truck mounted on a box to clear up the wheels) and it will go haywire. Just a few feet away, the stteering servo will play and this time, it will go forward. Took the AM out and installed the FM, same thing.

What is the problem? too much RF from the brushless system? my location? the radio I am using?

My Rx is very far away from the motor and ESC. Rx wire is routed nicely out on the body full length. While the ESC, motor and battery leads are neatly tied together.

Is 2.4ghz my ONLY solution? Before dropping the coin, I need to know if it will really take care of the problem.

Sorry for the long post guys. Any input will be highly appreciated.

Informative link. Thank you. I hope it is just the environment. But in any case, at this point in time. I think the 2.4ghz is the best way to go.
