I have recently finished the break in on my Raze st. The idle is running a bit high as explaned in the manual. How many turns do I turn the idle screw ? When the truck is'nt running, I turn the screw and it does'nt seem to change the opening in the carb. I also was running it the other day and let ot run out of fuel, the glow oplus turned black and wont light . I replaced it and it ran O.K Why would the plug go black, was it BC I ran it out of gas, ?

the idle might not be closing all the way due to throttle trim position. try checking with the radio off and manually close the carb towards brakes and see.

and running out of gas at full throttle kills glows plugs often. the engine really leans out at that moment and pops the plugs. running out idling isn't bad. the idle could also be too lean on the bottom needle
