What an amazing turnout today for our official opening day this season at Hardcore RC. We were overwhelmed with people wanting to run, i guess i should have made the drivers stand bigger to hold 30 people instead of 15 Thanks to all that came out today and thanks for your patience for those of you that had to wait to get on to the stand.

Seriously Scott, with a properly set up car, you'd be faster than all of us!!!....but we won't mind, SO GO OUT AND GET ONE!!!!
is that scott's carnage? what time was he there?

Well I have to say it is so cool seing all the new teams for 2009. Our hobby here in South Western Ontario is really exploding!! It is great to see.

So it now looks like STLR (Sprucewood Team Losi Racing) will have more competition than ever and as my favorite Chearleading Movie says:

Bring it on!

Thanks for coming out and supporting Hardcore everybody! Hope you enjoyed our official opening day.

on a side note, Hardcore's Threads are for discussing the track and its operations only. Any manufacturer bashing is not

That's beyond fair, Jay.

On a side note... or on topic note: I thought you guys handled the huge turnout really, really well and was more than happy with the amount of track time I had, considering the amount of people that showed up. Has the hobby really grown that much since last season, or was everyone just really desperate to get out for the first weekend with really good weather?

As I mentioned to Joe in a conversation not long ago ... it is a testament to the facilty and the people that run it ... I expect it to be popular all season ... cant wait to get my Spring yard work done so I can start showing up myself
