Hey guys, well I have had my SC10 for a few weeks now and finally got to get it out to Sid's for a test run and wow...I love it. the truck runs mint..perfect and very smooth. I have recently decided to do a 17mm conversion on it to see how it would be. This is not a kit that you can buy at your local hobby store but just something I tried and im hoping it will work fine. The rear worked out perfect but the front is still a work in progress but who knows..Here are a few pics of it. I will post later on when I have a report about it. Oh ya and dont mind the body but that's what a 7700 mamba does when it takes flight and skids on it hood for about 50 enjoy...

It was a HELL of a lot more than 50 feet bud! LMAO...

Truck looks great, and I've seen it go too. Noooo shortage of power in this beast!!!

Good luck with it, and enjoy!

50 feet is an understatement! Truck looks and drives awesome. Associated did a good job on this, it's tons of fun.

i had my sc10 at sids and it haldes really well on the track.

if your running lipos like myself and louie we found out fast that you need to add some weights to the truck. we were at sids last thursday and it was pretty windy. a few times we went over the bigger jumps the wind literally made our sc10s airbourne.

the 17mm conversion is a great idea louie. the stock tires are junk for racing on dirt . im going to convert mine to 17mm as well . it gives you so much more tire choices for racing.

Ya im really loving my SC10. Would also agree the body acts like a parachute in the wind. I did a 12mm hub conversion for bashing. Unfortunately the rules in both the spec class and open class prevent you from running the set-up shown here as you have to use CORR style truck rims and tires. Since the buggy wheels run a low profile tire I would say that eliminates them however J Concept makes the double d's to fit on the stock rims.

Open CORR / SCT Class / Slash

Body: CORR Style Body
Tires: CORR Style Size for Wheels / Tires
Motor: ALL motors allowed: Brushed, Brushless, etc.
Batteries: ALL are allowed: 6 or 7 cell (7.2 – 8.4 Volts); NICAD, NIMH, LIPO
Weight Limit: No weight limitations
