Venom Pro Charger question

I just got a Venom Pro Charger as part of a Slash package for my son.
My question is....when charging a 7 cell 3000 / 8.4V batt pack...the volt read out climbs up past 10v. Is this normal? The Amps are set at 3 and stay there.
Also...the display shows the batt type, amp rate, volt rate, charge time....but it also has a 5 digit read out the counts up...I have no clue what this number is for. Is it showing the current mah level of the battery? Thanks guys.

Yes this is normal for a 7 cell pack's voltage to go over 10 volts when charging. At rest the pack will be near 8.4 volts. I believe you are right the number is the mah rating.
