July18-19 Strathroy , Ontario
Legacy Hobby was the place to be.The track was very fast with medium
size jumps that still challenged everyone.
Saturday morning racing started and the racing was close in all the classes.
The legacy Crew was able to get 3 full rounds in on Saturday before
mother nature decided we were all having way to much fun to run a 4th
round on Saturday, like the guys from Legacy had planned.
Sunday morning the track crew got busy and dried up the track ,and the
racing was under way once again, and the guys at Legacy pushed out two
more rounds of qualifying.
At the end of qualifying Steve Bortolotti was TQ the his Tamiya Buggy
and Truggy in the Expert class , Darrin Quinn was TQ in Intermediate
Buggy, Randy Dejonckheere was TQ in Intermediate Truggy, Bob Flegel
was TQ in Extreme Truck.

All the mains proved to have some very close intense racing , at the
end of it all we had some very deserving winners that worked hard all
main long to bring home some hardware.

Chris Buckrell (Precision Hobbies /Jammin Canada) took the Expert
Buggy A-main win over Steve Bortolotti (Tamiya Canada) by 2/10th of a
second , and Jordan Krupp rounded out the top 3.

Expert Truggy was a tight race all race but at the end John "Chewy"
Baker stretched out the legs of his Mugen Truggy and took the win
easily , Martin Crisp (Tamiya Canada) was 2nd, Tom Wright (Tamiya
Canada) was 3rd.

Intermediate Buggy : Dalton Oliver was on rails and took took home is
2nd win of the year in the class, followed by Victor Garcia , and
Darrin Quinn came home 3rd.

Intermediate Truggy we had a first time race winner Brad Dagenais,
followed by Chris Sirizzoti , and Joe Flegel came home 3rd.

This was the 3rd and Final race of the Ontario Division for 2009 and
we awarded our top three in each class and have new champions in each
of the classes.

Thank You Joe for dedicating Your time to this series, well done !

Im sold, I know last year was little rocky for the series but after this weekend I really hope the momentum continues as I would rather race this series than any other, mainly because of the cost and the classifications by having the intermediate grouping.

The intermediate buggy "A" main was very fast and fun to watch [OK marshal] as these guys were flying !

Awesome weekend of RCPRO Racing !

This being my 1st year in 1/8th scale offroad, I didnt know what to expect. The RC Pro series was well done! Track owners, staff, and Joe were great at the 2 legs of the Ontario series I attended! Running I know this can be a thankless job and everyone involved did a great job

Looking forward to next year!
